Hide the World

If I could hide the world,
I’d place it in a field of autumn grass.
Like a little bubble
Hidden from those that would cause harm
Free to lay in peace basking
in the sunshine of a warm day
Ignoring the pains of yesterday
Watching the clouds go by
Enjoying today.
